Commercial Mechanical Systems was recently awarded a contract for the HVAC controls in the new Becton Dickinson Plant currently being built in Wilson, North Carolina.

The contract includes environmental controls for both office and manufacturing areas of the plant. CMS was awarded the contract based on their ability to deliver State of the Art Open Protocol LonWorks controls by Distech Controls. The entire system will utilize Web based technology by Plexus Technology.

CMS design team is working with engineers from Stantec Engineering as well as the Construction Managers at Yonkers Industries to design and install the environmental control system. The project is scheduled to be complete in late 2009.
